Dear Members,

It is with very mixed feelings that I announce our CEO, Bill Lamia has decided to retire effective June 30, 2021. Many members of the board have had the great pleasure to work closely with Bill for many years and are truly grateful for his dedication, focus, and leadership as our YMCA's CEO.

On behalf of the board, I am delighted to announce that Kathy Fisher has been appointed our new CEO, effective July 1, 2021. Over the past 18 years, Kathy has assumed an expanding role working closely with Bill to ensure the YMCA's operational effectiveness and relevance in the community. Over this time, Kathy has demonstrated strong leadership, operational skills, and a keen awareness of community and member needs necessary to lead our YMCA into a future filled with opportunities. Please join me and the board in congratulating Kathy on her new role.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to offer Bill our sincere thanks for his 20 years of dedicated contributions and professional expertise. Please join me in wishing him well as he moves onto life's next chapter.

Welcome to the Randolph Y!

While we are working hard to improve our facility to prepare us for the future, rest assured that the core principles of what the Y means to the community will never change.

The Randolph YMCA is a charitable, community service organization that includes men, women, and children of all ages, abilities, incomes, races and religions. We offer a welcoming atmosphere where participants feel comfortable and receive the support they need to improve their physical, mental, and spiritual health. Our programs help develop self-esteem and self-confidence, build lasting relationships, and increase civic engagement. Services are offered at affordable fees for the community at-large, and because of generous donors, financial assistance is always available for those who cannot afford the full fee.

Helping people of all ages and abilities develop health in spirit, mind and body is at the core of the YMCA movement. Our programs are designed to help people create realistic goals for self-improvement and emphasize disease prevention through regular exercise, proper nutrition, stress management, and health education. Programs for youth, families and adults promote teamwork, interaction, and development of social and physical skills.

For Youth Development: Believing that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve.

For Healthy Living: Improving the nation’s health and well-being. The Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun, and shared interests.

For Social Responsibility: giving back and providing support to our neighbors. The Y has been listening, and responding to our communities most critical needs for over 150 years.

Once again, welcome to the Y! I welcome your input, please feel free to contact me any time at
